In-depth doorknocking training with Rob Baillieu

Join us for an extra special in-depth doorknocking training session led by the brilliant Rob Baillieu, Monique Ryan’s Volunteer Manager.

You are welcome to join us for the whole day, or just for the parts of the day you are interested in.

1. From 10am to 12pm, we will have a session on the ins and outs of how to run a succcessful doorknocking program.

2. From 12.30pm (after lunch) we will learn how to have a persuasive conversation with voters at the door and practice having these conversations with each other.

3. From 1.30pm, we will pair up and head out for a doorknocking session around Upwey to put our new skills to the test. We'll be aiming to pair inexperienced door-knockers up with more experienced volunteers. You will be welcome to spend a lot of the time listening in, or jump in and join the conversation if you're keen!

Why join?

- We need you! If we're going to get an independent elected for Casey, we're going to have to have thousands of conversations with people all over the electorate.

- Meet like-minded people. Chances are, you will have something in common with others volunteering on the Claire4Casey campaign. Come along to get to know great people.

- Build your skills. Practice talking about the campaign and what it means to you.

Having meaningful conversations is the most effective way to convince a person to change their vote, and we need to have thousands of these conversations to get Claire over the line. This training is crucial for our success and will equip us with the skills and confidence to get out there and talk to voters.

It will be a lot of fun. Please RSVP now to secure your spot.
